The Parks and Recreation Department maintains County public parks and boat
landings located along the banks of the Waccamaw River. Horry County takes
great pride in its natural resources and the Parks and Recreation Department
keeps the parks and boat landings clean and safe for public use.
We have over 30 public parks and 28 boat landings throughout the county. A
majority of the parks contain ball fields, picnic sheds, and playground
equipment. A number of the landings have docks, multiple ramps, and paved parking.
Rentals - facilities, fields, sheds/tables and equipment are available for rent
