The Horry County Parks and Recreation Department has jobs that range from administrative, to recreation management, coordination and supervision. Afterschool counselors needed for the school year. School begins in August and continues until right around the beginning of June. Staff will start work from the time school dismisses until 6:00 pm or later. All applicants must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma. Now hiring for all locations.

Summer Camp positions begin training towards the end of May. Summer Camps begin around the first of June and continues until the end of August. Camp operating hours are from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm or later. All applicants must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma. Some staff will have set shifts, while others will need to be flexible to work the field trips. There are several locations for our Summer Camps throughout Horry County, so please contact our Programs Division to find the location that is right for you.

*All Summer Camp position applicants must apply through the Parks & Recreation Office at 307 Smith Street, Conway. Applications are available at our office. Pay range is $6.50/hr - $8.00/hr depending on position and site.

Athletic Officials and Field Supervisor positions are available through the Athletic Division of the Horry County Parks and Recreation Department. Our department offers a wide-variety of Athletic leagues and Instructional Athletic leagues for all ages. Please contact our office if you are interested in any of the positions.
