As a facility provider, we work with several
park boards to preserve Horry County’s open, green spaces in the forms of
parks and passive areas of interest. In assisting us with providing parks, the
responsibilities of each park board vary from general maintenance of the park to
offering organized classes, clubs and special events.
The park boards operate the following parks:
Bucksport, Poplar, Red Bluff, Sandridge, Socastee Park and Recreation
Commission, Vereen Memorial Gardens and White Oak.
